On the 1st of July, Talking Prints and Hedy Tjin are releasing a new T-shirt collection, “ Wapen van Suriname 2.0”. The two teamed up and created a new version of the Surinamese weapon. The traditional version is known for
the indigenous men armed with their shields.
Hedy Tjin (illustrator designer), well-known for her recognizable color palette and outstanding murals, textile prints and covers, brought some new spices to the table and incorporated new elements into the design.

In honor of Keti Koti Day, this duo wants to embrace the power of the Surinamese heritage and spread extra Surinamese love into the world.
